WELCOME TO MOLECULAR LIGHT TECHNOLOGY
Since its incorporation
in 1991 MLT Research Ltd (a wholly owned subsidiary of
Gen-Probe Inc.) has
pioneered the development of highly sensitive diagnostic tests employing
molecular technologies including chemiluminescence. This technology has been successfully used in the
clinical testing arena, where accuracy and time to result are imperative
and more recently the company has demonstrated the advantages of molecular
technology in environmental diagnostics. MLT was acquired by Gen-Probe Inc.
in 2003 and is central to Gen-Probe’s current industrial strategy through
its expertise in the development of highly sensitive and rapid assays.
